Notice to Fishers - Delay of the 4th Halibut Opening

DELAY OF THE FOURTH HALIBUT OPENING Charlottetown, PE - October 8th, 2026 Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) - Gulf Region wishes to inform harvesters the fourth halibut opening, orginally scheduled for October 13 to October 16, 2026 has been dalayed until 4:00hrs, Tuesday, October 20 and will remain open until 16:00 hrs, Friday, October 23, 2026. All other management measures for the fourth opening will remain unchanged.
