The 2012 Canadian/U.S. Lobstermen's Town Meeting will be held at the Wyndham hotel in Portland Main on March 23rd and March 24th.  Directions to the hotel can be found here:www.wyndham.com/hotels/PWMHT/mapanddirections/main.wnt or here:maps.google.ca/maps


This annual meeting allows lobster fishermen from both Canada and U.S. jointly discuss lobster and related marine issues that concern both countries. Issues that will be discussed during this meeting include the following: marine debris & derelict traps, whale take reduction updates, quality of bait, aquaculture & the lobster fishery, offshore wind turbines, and other issues.


Please note that pre-registration and paying a $25 fee is required if those attending wish to participate having lunch. Otherwise a $15 fee will be asked for at the door, which will cover breaks only. Below is a copy of the registration sheet provided. Please print and fill out appropriately.
