April 18th 2020: PEIFA VOTE ON OPENING DATE OF THE SPRING 2020 SEASON

The PEIFA are conducting a membership vote on the opening date of the 2020 Spring lobster fishery in LFA 24 and 26A. The vote for core PEI LFA 24 or 26A fishers has been emailed to the address provided to the PEIFA office. If you do not see this vote in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder to ensure the email security settings did not filer it out. There have been some fishers having trouble opening the link inside their email, if so, contact us (Inbox, call or text - see contact details below) and we will help.

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT YOUR VOTE IS MONDAY, APRIL 20TH @ NOON

STEPS TO SUBMITTING YOUR VOTE:

1. Open the email from the PEIFA and locate the link to the vote. Click on the link to the vote. If there is a problem with the link, let us know and we'll help you.

2. Your Name, FIN and Lobster License number are REQUIRED information on this vote in order to confirm you are a core PEI LFA 24 or 26A lobster fisher

3. Once you have filled out the information and answered the sole question on the opening date (May 6th or 13th) PLEASE ENSURE YOU PRESS THE ‘SUBMIT’ BUTTON so your answers get back to the PEIFA for tallying.

4. IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE AN EMAIL OR PHONE CALL AND WOULD LIKE TO COMPLETE YOUR VOTE: Call, text or email the PEIFA Office. Staff will be available 8:30 – 4:30PM Saturday, Sunday and Monday (by noon) to ensure you have the opportunity to vote. The PEIFA office number is 902-566-4050.
