DFO Notice on Lobster Season Opening - April 28, 2010

 

Subject: OPENING OF LFAS 24, 26A, 26B SOUTHERN PORTION APRIL 30 6:00 AM
Importance: High

 
Further to a discussion with southern Gulf lobster stakeholders, and based on available weather forecast information, the fishery in LFAs 24, 26A and 26B southern portion will open on the regulated date of April 30, 6:00 am and will close on July 1. 
 
As in past years, and until further notice, the fishery between Point Prim and Victoria will open at 6:00 am May 7 and will close July 8.
