LFA 25 Fall Lobster Season Update (as of 9AM, August 11th, 2023):  

 

Following the 9AM DFO weather conference today (call #5), it was confirmed that the LFA 25 Fall Lobster season will open at 6AM, Sunday, August 13^th to set the gear only and agreement was made for NO lobster fishing on Sunday.  Lobster fishing will begin on Monday morning at 4am at the opening of the curfew.  

 

DFO will be issuing a Notice to Fishers later today confirming today’s opening decision.
