The Halibut fishery will reopen for approximately 11 ton quota remaining, on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at noon (1200 hrs) to 6pm (1800hrs) weather permitting. In case of inclement weather on Thursday, there will be a conference call at 0800 hrs Wednesday morning to decide another opening date, possibly on Friday, September 2nd. The number of hooks remains the same at 400 hooks
